The Double Ender Committee is seeking passionate volunteers to help us with the parade on July 4th. This is a great opportunity to be part of a beloved Block Island tradition and to make it a memorable event for all.

As a volunteer, you will have a variety of tasks to help us run the parade smoothly. Your basic responsibilities will include:

• Reporting to The Oar at 9:00 a.m. for check-in

• Helping with float registration and organization

• Assisting the parade judges with their duties

• Marching in the parade, either carrying a banner, flag, or donation bucket (note: this requires being able to walk for about 1.5 miles and uphill at times)

• Collecting donations from spectators

• Providing directions and other support to parade-goers
